4 RAIC “The Intergalactic Church Of Kirk” From Gestalt (Cacophonous Revival Recordings) RAIC (Richmond Avant Improv Collective) formed in Richmond, Virginia in 2015. Their five primary members collaborate with an extensive pool of improvisors, numbering more than 100 players over the span of ten albums and countless live shows exploring jazz, shoegaze, black metal, noise, film music, classical, ambient and rock. 5 Alberto Nemo “Dolina” From Istar (CNI) Italian musician and composer Alberto Nemo began his career performing sacred music in chapels. His work is characterised by slow, dilated tempos and a voice that passes from an almost imperceptible whisper to a dramatic vibrato.
