ANNUAL GATHERING Resurgence is completing its twelfth year of existence and we are very happy that as a small magazine we have survived well. The credit goes to our readers and supporters who have kept company with us in all circumstances.

Every year we have been celebrating the birth anniversary as an annual gathering of Resurgence readers, writers and well-wishers. This year it is going to take place in the form of a conference on the future of Wales, followed by a feast. For full details see page 35. I personally enjoy this gathering immensely as the only occasion when I meet all of you personally. I hope very much that many of you will come and make this an enjoyable occasion. Those of you living outside Wales will be able to understand closely the aspirations of a small country. Looking forward to seeing you on May 20th.

Satish Kumar.
