The Working Lives Research Institute provides a doctoral study opportunity for trade unionists and others interested in understanding work and its relationship with social justice. The course, which is now recruiting for October 2013, is a research-based doctoral level programme offered flexibly to fit around your own working life. It is studied part-time and is taught by internationally recognised researchers.

You will be encouraged to reflect and draw upon your professional experience to research the changing phenomena of work and working lives at local, European and global levels. After completing two years of taught modules you will pursue your own doctoral level research into an area of interest to you or related to your work.
