PUTTING TOGETHER THE NEW MODULAR BUILDING IS A WONDERFUL

ANNUAL TRADITION

That’s not to say that 10326 Natural History Museum is without its surprises though – and in an exclusive interview, Senior Model Designer Chris McVeigh reveals how he packed the set with intriguing details.

That’s just one of many features this month that came out of a recent trip to Denmark, where we packed every day with as much LEGO activity as possible.

During that week I caught up with the LEGO House team, who create very different types of brick experiences. This month, they discuss upgrading the Story Lab attraction and share some of the digital sketch models that they created along the way.

The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly Skærbæk Fan Weekend and our report explains why the quirky, AFOL-focused event is completely unlike any other show on the LEGO community calendar. Be warned – after reading about the 2023 edition, you might find yourself investigating what it will take to attend in 2024. Winter is a good time for LEGO building, as there’s plenty of indoor time to fill. This month’s Reviews section should point you towards those sets that are actually worth the big bucks – and there’s a few of them, including Concorde, the UCS Venator and the latest Hogwarts Castle. We also have three new Quick Builds to try, in case you are looking for something more realistically sized.

Leg godt!
